Minorquines Girls Shoes for Every Occasion

At Ladida we definitely aren’t lacking in a love for shoes. We love that there are so many styles (sandals, slip-ons, boots, sneakers, wedges—who can even keep track of them all?!), how they can instantly change the look of an outfit, make a statement, or provide the comfort we need to keep going during a long day. They’re the accessory that probably more than a few of us have way too many pairs of and that can bring a smile to almost any girl’s face.

And when it comes to little girls’ shoes this is no exception. If you’ve got a little girl, we know that picking her out the perfect pair is even more rewarding than adding to your own collection, so we’re sharing some of our favorites with you in hopes that you get a little shoe-spiration (we had to!).

One of our new favorite girl shoe brands is Minorquines. Their shoes are so adorable—and perfect for so many outfits and occasions! A big win for parents who want their little girls to look and feel their best but don’t want to spend an arm and a leg on an extensive shoe collection (after all, little feet grow fast).

Minorquines designer girls’ shoes are part of a long history of shoemaking in their home country of Spain. It’s a family business that started with a man named Joseph who had a dream of making a living selling custom fit shoes. Needless to say, he succeeded. And his tenacity, combined with the creation of a rubber soled sandal called Avarcas (or Minorquines), has led to a flourishing family business run by his grandson who now sells Minorquines shoes to customers all over the world.

They’re well known for their classic combination of style and comfort—even the Spanish royal family has expressed their love for the Minorquine sandals—that pairs beautifully with a number of different looks. Plus, the smart decision to add a rear strap keeps them securely on little girls’ feet and provides plenty of support for whatever is thrown at them. This versatility makes them the perfect shoe for young girls who are constantly on the move.

Jean Sandals

How adorable are these denim sandals? They may just be our new favorite shoe, period. The medium blue denim gives off a great casual vibe and is a great color for matching just about any other color or pattern. These would be perfect girls’ shoes for matching with a bright summer dress or skirt for a dressed up look that’s still comfortable and provides adequate support no matter how much energy she has.

Or take them in a more casual direction and pair them with jeans (go for denim that’s a slightly different color for some contrast) and a cute sweater or t-shirt. This makes a great outfit for a playdate with a friend or a walk to the park.

Star Sandals

These stylish cut-out star sandals have a ton of spunk and stand out from the crowd. In fact, they remind of us of the funky styles you see in girls’ boutique shoes. And they’re made of extra comfortable natural leather which means they’re perfect for wearing throughout the day—no worry about sore feet necessary! We love the contrast of the white and red and that even with a pop of color they would still match a number of outfits.
